Submission Framework for Gathered Light Visuals

 Gathered Light Visuals is a platform for visual accountability and collective action. We welcome photo and video submissions that document environmental harm, systemic waste, and overlooked injustices. These visuals may help educate, raise awareness, support advocacy, and empower nonprofits and journalists working for real change.

• Photographs and short video clips (up to 5 minutes preferred)
• Topics can include:
  • Environmental destruction (pollution, dumping, deforestation)
  • Corporate or municipal waste
  • Unsafe or unjust labor practices
  • Over-tourism damage
  • Violations of Indigenous land
  • Food and clothing waste
  • Marine or animal harm
  • Urban and rural environmental neglect

• High-resolution JPEG, PNG, or MP4 files preferred
• Up to 10 images or 2 videos per submission
• Brief written description: What is shown, where it was taken, and why it matters (approx. 100–300 words)
